Certain models are better at picking up pet hairs from rugs than others, so it's crucial to select the right model that will efficiently and effectively clean all flooring types. Choose a model with a large dustbin that will hold plenty of dirt between emptyings and a nozzle that does not lose suction as it rotates.
The majority of robots require little or no maintenance, other than cleaning the tangled fur off the rotating brush after every cleaning session (and wiping its sensors or camera as required) and then periodically emptying the bin, or using a robot's self-emptying base. If you follow these simple steps to maintain your robot, the vacuum will last as long as full-size vacuums and keep your home cleaner for longer.
While robot mops are generally less flexible than their vacuum counterparts, some have the added ability to clean up spills and puddles while they're at it. That's a big improvement on the Qrevo Pro, which ran out of water after mopping just 30 days worth of dirt in our tests.
The Tapo RV30 Plus from networking giant TP Link is another excellent two-in-one. It's quiet, compact and is clean and easy to maintain an appearance. Its LIDAR navigation is effective, too. It is able to avoid hitting furniture or running over power cables.
It's a bit slow on the stairs however that's to expected in a compact robot designed to work around obstacles. The only downside is that the mopping pads are difficult to attach and didn't stay in place during our tests, and it isn't equipped to deal with dirt that has dried, which makes it more of a vacuum cleaner than a full-fledged mop.

You can prevent this from happening by clearing the area of any cords and tying off any curtains that are long prior to running your robot.
